We were created to live lives of love, and even though so many things in life are pulling us away, we can practice quieting the other noises to become fully present and tuned to the loving voice of God.
"Help me to journey beyond the familiar
and into the unknown.
Give me the faith to leave old ways
and break fresh ground with You.
Christ of the mysteries, I trust You
to be stronger than each storm within me.
I will trust in the darkness and know
that my times, even now, are in Your hand.
Tune my spirit to the music of heaven,
and somehow, make my obedience count for You."
– Prayer of St Brendan

The problem is ultimately a failure of worship, becoming enslaved to other powers, but Jesus won the victory setting us free from sin and shame. Worshipping Jesus is one of the most powerful ways we can practice and participate in this ongoing act of transformation through the Spirit.

Our worldview is a set of assumptions about the nature of reality that determines the way we process our experiences in life. It shapes where we're starting from and where we're going. What if we could learn to see the world like Jesus believing and expecting God to be involved and interacting supernaturally in everything we do?

Our church is to be one made up of generational bridge builders. We honor and seek the welfare of the generations ahead of us and behind us. No matter our age, we have a gift we bring to the body of Christ. We must be generational bridge builders if we are to have any lasting impact on our city, and that means, ALL of us, no matter what generation we come from, get to play.
